Medication Management in Schools
Course
Students may need to take medication during school hours to participate in their educational program fully. This includes medicines that are medically necessary to be taken at school or during school-sponsored activities, and not those that can be taken outside the school day.
This narrated webinar aligns with the NYSED Guidelines for Medication Management in Schools. It provides a framework for schools to develop policies and procedures for administering medication in all schools, as defined by NYS law.
A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion, which may be used to satisfy Professional Development requirements.
