Medication Management in Schools
Course
Students may need medication during school hours to fully participate in their education program. This includes medications medically necessary to be taken at school or school-sponsored activities and NOT those that can be taken outside the school day.
This narrated webinar aligns with the NYSED Guidelines for Medication Management in Schools. It provides a framework for schools to develop policies and procedures for medication administration in all schools as defined in NYS law.
A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion that may be used to satisfy Professional Development requirements.
