Children’s positive experiences or protective factors can prevent children from experiencing adversity and can protect against many of the negative health and life outcomes even after adversity has occurred. Addressing conditions that put children and families at risk of ACEs is important so that we can prevent ACEs before they happen. This presentation shares information about Adverse Childhood Events (ACEs) Survey and how ACES and trauma relate to health and learning.

A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion that may be used to satisfy Professional Development requirements.
