Diabetes is a life-altering diagnosis for students and their families. The School Nurse is key to providing the education and care that supports students’ safety and success in the school setting.
To assist school nurses and provide safe, effective care for students with diabetes, we are offering a one-hour Zoom webinar presentation on Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM) and Insulin Pumps featuring Nancy Jones, RN, BSN, Certified Diabetic Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) from Albany Medical Center. This session will also include a Q&A session about these diabetes devices.
A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion that may be used to satisfy Professional Development requirements.
