This presentation is designed to provide school personnel with a basic overview of what to look for regarding signs and symptoms of possible impairment, as well as to understand the appropriate next steps in a school setting. This presentation will provide the tools to determine if an individual requires further assessment, evaluation, and possible treatment by an appropriate healthcare provider.

About the Presenter:

Technical Sergeant Jonathan David Cook has served as a Field Training Officer, a Patrol Rifleman, a Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) Instructor, a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), and a DRE Instructor.  

A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion, which may be used to satisfy Professional Development requirements.
